The National Center on Response to Intervention (NCRTI) has developed this document to help middle school parents and other family members understand the essential components of Response to Intervention (RTI), ask questions about RTI, and understand how the RTI framework may be used to help their children succeed in school.

This training module was developed for teams implementing a response to intervention (RTI) framework. This module shares information, resources, and activities to enhance participant’s knowledge of fidelity and why it is important to consider within an RTI framework. The module describes considerations for evaluating fidelity across the essential components of RTI, discusses options for measuring fidelity, provides examples of measurement tools, and suggestions to improve fidelity through coaching, supportive school culture, and identification of barriers.
